One of the famous Car Restoration Masters, Mark Towle, Owner of Gotham Garage has just released his second season on his hit show “Car Master - Rust to Riches” on Netflix.
In the first season, he showed how he got 6-Figures income by just working for a few months, including the ups and downs that came with the business.
While in the Second Season, he and his crew gave themselves multiple 6-figure paydays, and massive recognition almost at the same time.
The idea is simple...
Start With Something Worth $500 Or $1000 To Make That 6-Figure Payday
The game that Mark played was that they would always start with something that cost around $500 to $1000 and turn it into a Cool Car.
They took that cool car and traded it for a Higher Valued Car of the same value but needing some work.
They would then turn that car into a Badass car to make to sell it for 6-figure like the first deal they show in the series... (Spoiler Alert)
They picked you a ratty old ’64 Ford Thunderbird for a thousand bucks and added parts worth $15,000 to start with.
Mark went overboard on this project by cutting the roof off of it, sheet-metaled the entire backseat, and placed a wraparound aircraft windshield on it.
After adding 18-inch smoothie wheels and wrapping it in chrome, the Gotham Garage Team makes a Silver Rocket Ship Come to Reality.
They want to give the feeling to whoever owns and drives this New ’64 Thunderbird, he feels like he is sitting in an aircraft and time machine of some sort.
They now had made a custom-made badass car, which could be sold for $30,000 alone.
Instead, they decided to trade it for a ’70 Chevy Fleetside truck with disassembled pieces worth $45,000.
Mark’s Crew member Tony took the lead to transform this custom truck which felt like driving a sports car with a truck body on it.
They added the LS Motor with the stacked fuel injection showcasing them off from small windows cut out on the hood because it was too cool to close the hood on.
With that, they complemented other subtle but unique touches with custom mirrors, grille, seats, and dashboard and then adding a walnut bed in the back, which looked like a dance floor.
And because it’s a Badass Pro-Touring Truck, it drives like a race car, but on the inside of the car having all the modern conveniences of a High-End Luxury car.
This Truck was made in such a way, that you experience it more like a Corvette or a Maserati or a Ferrari, not only when you enter it, but when you drive it as well.
Now this Custom-made Chevy Pro-Touring Truck already surpassed the value of $70,000.
The Gotham Garage Team was about to trade it up for a Zephyr and the upgraded Zephyr would have been sold for upwards of $150,000, which would have given a profit of $80,000.
Unfortunately, the deal fell through and they were left with a Custom-made Chevy Pro-Touring Truck sitting in their Garage.
However, because there is already so much demand in the Market, it just took one message to all of their contacts and in one week,
The Custom-made Chevy Pro-Touring Truck was Sold for a Grand total of $73,500
Between the money they spent on fixing up the Thunderbird, trade up for the Fleetside, and the money it took to upgrade that, the team spent a total of $32,000.
After selling it for $73,500, the Gotham Garage Team took a grand profit of $41,500.
This is where I am sharing only 1 deal which was shown in their first 2 and a one-fourth episode of their first season.
Imagine, how many deals they were already closing every year, even before they landed the Netflix Deal.
Only their second Season on Netflix, they have done more than a dozen of 3 Tier “Upgrade and Trade” cars and a dozen of simple Custom “Upgrade and sell” cars, where you would never find the replica of the same.
